Facility Assessment &
Master Planning
In order to plan for the future, you have to have a complete understanding of where you stand.
Healthcare facilities are typically older buildings with long histories of additions and remodels. It is important to understand the status of the equipment that keeps them functioning – i.e. knowing the answer to the question “How much longer will it last?” Tanner Engineering’s facility assessment and master planning services, examines the electrical systems in these buildings, looking for where the weak points are. We find solutions for how to complete the necessary work while minimizing operational impacts on the facility.
When requirements and code standards change – such as AB 2511 and PIN 74 – Tanner Engineering has the experience and expertise to provide a full assessment and create a plan that will get you back in compliance as quickly and painlessly as possible.
Sharp Grossmont – Distribution and Transformer
Tanner Engineering was selected as the only electrical engineering firm that could provide the confidence and competence necessary to perform a study of Grossmont Hospital’s existing 60-year-old 12kV electrical distribution system and identify key components in need of immediate replacement or repair.
Sharp Coronado – Risk Assessment and Infrastructure Plan
Tanner Engineering performed an overall electrical system analysis of all the major system components, assessed the equipment’s condition, and provided life cycle analysis. Additionally, Tanner performed a distribution and load analysis, reviewed the NPC ratings of the existing conditions and performed utility system coordination.
