Honda Center Lighting Retrofit
Honda Center – Anaheim, CA
The first California arena to 100% convert to all LED for Parking, General Illumination and Performance Lighting. The building is 650,000SF, many acres of parking, constructed in 1993. The original lighting technology had not changed since its original installation; Fluorscent general illumination, incandescent accent lighting, HPS parking and MH-HID performance lighting. In a multiphase project all of the lighting was converted to LED. Great attention was focused on increasing the light quality; improving underlit areas, providing controls at the locations that could provide energy savings without changing the aesthetics of the venue.
